4 stars on a curve. Because this joint could be Michelin starred (as is the price point) except for the details. The concept is certainly Michelin: take run of the mill dishes and liven them up with wacky flavors. I’m going to do best, good, bad. Let’s start with the best: the foie gras and tuna with truffle ice cream is one of the best dishes we’ve ever had in our lives. Hands down. Amazing And the service was top notch. Extremely professional with menu and then dish explanations. Doting but not overbearing. Lots of extras along the way. For example, the amuse bouche of duck and octopus were inspired. The good: our mains of pork and beef/scallops were interesting. We did raise our eyebrows and discussed them, which is a thing! The bad: at the end of our meal a woman who seemed to be the owner stood between our table and the one next to us and spoke so LOUDLY to the four-top next to us that we were unable to have a conversation with each other over her loud talking. We couldn’t talk over her. Couldn’t think over her. After 10 or 15 minutes of hoping it would end we paid and left without finishing our wine. Overall, it was a great and interesting night. But the experience at the end was so unprofessional. Sigh.

What can I say !!!?!! The food, the service and the outdoor back patio was a perfect night. I have to thank with great pleasure the waitress ANTONELLA. Her personality just added to the experience. She never missed a beat. She made our night a lot more pleasurable. Hats off to the chef. This was more than a perfect evening. THANK YOU!!!

The staff here is excellent, as they were very friendly even though we don't speak Italian, quick, courteous and knowledgeable about the food and wine selection. The dishes are beautiful and delicious. All of the photos are half portions as my girlfriend and I shared everything and they split them for us. But even before that, we were treated with complimentary amuse bouches. Then we started with the eggplant with burrata, which she says was the best eggplant she's ever had (I'm not the biggest fan but it was quite good). The seafood pasta was next and it was perfectly al dente and so fresh. The anglerfish was a bit of a letdown for me as I thought it was bland, but it was very pretty. The salted caramel ice cream was a perfect second dessert, as they brought a small complimentary one of those as well first.

We ate here on our first night in Palermo and it was a great start to the week... Despite not having a booking and the restaurant being busy we were greeted by a friendly waiter and seated quickly! The decor inside is contemporary and cool and the food was equally as good... Carbonara with truffle and the canolli dessert were two stand outs for me! Loved this place! *****
